Our longtime friend, Larry Reynolds, of Fairmont, OK will be leaving on Monday, January 22 for Houston, TX where he will undergo seven weeks of daily radiation treatment for his prostate cancer.  Larry and his wife, Oleta, own Half Acre Miniature Horse Farm.  Please keep Larry in your prayers.

Well, weather is once again the story for this weekend, January 20 & 21.  Snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches were expected on top of the 2 to 3 inches of sleet.  The updated forecast today now calls for 1 to 4 inches.  We are just thankful that power was not effected in our area.

Jerry Horn was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery  in Stillwater Wednesday, January 10.  Please keep Jerry in your prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

We were saddened by the news of the passing of long time friend, Jack Gerhart, on January 1, 2007.  Jack of Dublin, Texas was 81.  We will long remember Jack's stagecoach pulled by his miniature horses.  There was always fierce, but friendly competition when Gene entered the show ring with our "Golden Girl" and Jack with "Texans Prissy Doll".  Jack was a jolly old Texan and probably never met a stranger.  We'll miss you Jack.

The weather here in Oklahoma is the story for this weekend, January 13 & 14.  Ice and sleet is expected to continue to fall thru Sunday with accumulations of one to two inches possible.   It looks like snow, but the ground is covered with sleet.  Brrrr

Our daughter-in-law, Monica, lost her grandfather this week.  His funeral was Friday, January 12.  Please keep her in your prayers.
